Snow Math Problems.........

Snow!!!!! Fun and quite mean at the same time. I went sledding with my buddies and we got cold; but we were so happy on the inside that none of us really cared. I have been thinking about doing this post for a while and I've got some good ones in my noggin. And I might add I think that I have, at one point, done all of these things.
Problem A: Snow + no snow clothes outside= COLD !!!!!
Problem B: Running through snow + no shoes + a dare from dad = frostbit toes (exaggeration anyone?)
Problem C: Getting in a snowball fight + no snow pants = wet  wet wet
Problem D: Face planting + without a ski mask =dripping nose
Anyone else who has lived in Idaho gets these ..... but the rest of you- I THINK NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

c-o-l-d spells COLD!!!!

Oh boy December 2nd already. I need to get on the ball with Christmas presents......thinking back I kind of wish that I had started looking a long time ago! I need to get in the mood, and our Christmas tree has been helping. Since I'm on Student Council, I get to plan the annual sing-along that Temple View hosts every year. This year we get 2 weeks off and that is going to be EXTRA nice.
To explain my title, I will elaborate. As usual, Hannah has inspired this poetic piece of work. Lately Hannah has been telling people "n-o spells NO!" when she says no. This has never failed to make me giggle, although she says it with the kind of attitude that makes me think that she is way older than I am. She has also got that tone that says ' I-know-how-to-spell-no' and 'Am-I-smarter-than-you?-I-think-so!'
So I decided to think of the weather outside and c-o-l-d spells REALLY COLD! Reminds me of the song
'Girls, girls, girls, thats all I see! Theres not a guy in the vicinity!' and so on, you guys you know how that goes. Instead I am thinking 'Snow, snow, snow, thats all I see! There not a drop-of-warmth in the vicinity!'  Hahaha yeah not joking. It is REALLY cold.

Halloween!!!

Oh geez, another Halloween come and gone. This holiday always seems to go particularly fast by me but from here on out, I will be hangin' with my buddies on Halloween. I think that that was pretty much my last trick-or-treating night. Ross's mom was the one to take us trick or treating, and she said that as long as we are going out of business with the trick or treating thing, we might as well go out with a bang. We all agreed with this and we did indeed go out with a bang like the 20 firecrackers Gabe taped together with duct tape on the 4th of July.
We went all down and up and down and up our street, and I got some good pictures of our costumes.

Isn't she the stinking cutest ice cream cone that the world has ever seen???

Also very cute- a rocking rock star

And last of the Georges but CERTAINLY not the least, a bag of groceries!!!!!

All three of us cuties
Wait, wait, wait, correction- all FOUR of us cuties

                                                                What great fun!

Lacey For President

Lacey for president! I am running for student body president this year at school! It is really fun to interact with all the kids that I am trying to get to vote for me. I have the coolest posters out of all of the candidates. The election will take place on Tuesday November 2nd. I can't wait for them to vote. I think that this will be a fun and cool experience, whether I win or not.

Bryce Canyon.....Can't wait

Oh brother I am anticipating our family reunion SO much this year. All week we are swimming, hiking, and playing. Oh man people how fun does that sound? We are also sleeping in an Indian tepee, and also (I think) stargazing.
Three words :  I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep.....

This was the highlight of Sunday night. We were playing with my cousin Calli and she thought  that I was taking a picture of her, but I wasn't. I was filming her.
By the way, I am quite proud of myself for figuring out how to film. From here on out there will be some videos of us in our lives. And I am also thinking about doing a little puppet show every week....... okay, now that I have gotten off subject a billion times, I will now post my video.

Oops I have actually not figured out so look out for a different post labeled yep.

Yes, in my wildest dreams its true.......

But not really. So don't be fooled people who read this blog, because that amazing thing down there is not working.

It crashed a couple of days ago, and my little sisters and I love to play school. So yes I got it and grandma dumped this little crashed guy for........
Big boy here. In my wildest dreams do I have my own super speed high tech  computer, which does NOT describe my new computer. It is kind of low tech (or whats considered low tech these days) and is, wait was, about as fast as a blob of cold tar on a winters day.

Bedtime

Last night when Mom was putting us to bed she said "OK boy and girls, time for B-E-D!" Hannah's face fell as soon as Mom said this. "Oh no!" she said. "Why, Hannah? What does B-E-D spell?" Gabe said. With a gloomy face, Hannah said "Bedtime." All of us then began to giggle and after that Hannah started to grin again.

Sydney's Program

I got to skip lunch to go to Sydney's class singing program. I took lots of pictures, but on most of them, a kids head was in front of her cute little 2nd grade face. I did get a couple of good ones though.
She is looking a little bored in this one.

I got as close as I dared on this one.
Mrs Frickey, (Sydney and my second grade teacher) took this one. I think that I was laughing at something Sydney said or did. I think that the little girl on the right side was trying to get into the picture.

Mother's Day Gift

I know that this post is a little late....
Here are some picture of the present we gave momma for Mother's Day.

A candy poster. The classic thing to get your mom.
Now that all of you can turn your head and read it, please do so know.

Simple Little Joys

I was feeling especially happy after dad found the killdeer eggs, and so I wanted to do a post on small things that make me fell happy. The killdeer eggs are a new little happy joy, and I also want to recognize the other things that make me grin.

There is a strange story behind this little guy and here it is. One day dad was eating an avocado, and he was about to throw the seed away, and Sydney told him that he couldn't so we planted it. It is getting really big now, so we will plant it outside soon. This plant makes me smile because I know how much Syd, Hannah, and I love it.

These make me grin because I think of those delicious peppers that they will produce. I practically live off of the George garden in the summertime. I can't wait to taste these! : )

As long as we are talking about plants, here are the cucumber sprouts. Once again- YUMMY!!!!

Radishes that are almost ripe for the picking. yummy yummy yum!

The grass is getting green. Oh! I love the soft, sweet, and not to mention green, grass in the summer. Has anyone noticed that  most of the things I am putting as 'happy' are green?

This flower is a truly pretty carnation. I love it, and think that it is SO pretty.

Dandelions. Not the prettiest or most useful thing on the planet, but I am happier to get a small bouquet of dandelions from my little sisters than to get any other type of flower. I think that they are Hannah's favorite flower. I mean, weed.

Bubbles. Who doesn't love bubbles? They are too fun to NOT enjoy, no matter how old or mature you may be. Or were thought to be, even after people saw you playing with bubbles.

And who also doesn't like to sit down and enjoy a book. Not I. I could read pretty much all day every day.

I am personally a humongo fan of  blankeys. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!

This reminds me of Grandma Potter. I love her very much.

Ooh the swing . I absolutely ADORE the swing, I could sit on it for hours.

The fun and ever-entertaining tether ball pole. Three words- fun fun fun.

Last of all, my beautiful bike. I love, love, love it.
There are my list of absolutely simple and great joys.

Molly's Birthday

Here are a couple of pictures of Molly (on her birthday 17!), and I took them for you Jenny Beth....
I really like her smile, so here is another one
 SCARY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhh.......This is the molly we all love. I was told to take a picture of dad too, so here it is....
 I love taking pictures!

Birds of a Feather

If walk out onto our porch you see this.......
When you see this backyard you want to go play, right? So you decide to walk down these..............
And then you want to swing, pick strawberries,or jump on the trampoline, right? So then you run up this..........
For a couple of minutes you can't decide, but then you see the strawberries, and the sort of win your heart over.  So, you walk past these.........
And then you see that there are no more strawberries because your cousins ate all of them, but then something speckled catches you eye. So you carefully step over the strawberries your foot getting dirty in the soft squishy mud. Then you see this.......
And you think its pretty cool so bend in to get a better look, and you see this.......

You try to take it all in, but you can't help yourself, and you lean in even closer to see this wonderful part of nature.......

You still can't believe that this is in your backyard, so you lean in a titchy bit closer.

Killdeer eggs...pretty amazing. I love every minute of it. And to tell you the truth, I think that killdeer eggs are  a lot prettier than this.........

I'm not trying to diss chickens or anything, but I like killdeer eggs much better.
