Mood Swings and Happy Things.....

I was playing with Hannah out in the yard today and I wouldn't play the 'shock game'. In this game we link fingers and collect static electricity off of the tramp. Then one person touches the spring and the electricity runs through all of us.   When Hannah asked me to play, she said " Will you play the shock game with me?" and I said " No Hannah we always play that when we are out here. She got all grumpy and said " You never play that game with me!" " Um, Hannah," I said " We always play that game!". She then layed down on the tramp and started to pout. I didn't want to make her feel bad so I said " Hannah why don't  we play something else like um..... jump on the tramp or play tether ball or  swing?" As soon as I said swing her face lit up like a light bulb "OK!!!" She said happily.  In my head I thought "Total mood swing right there!" This happened again when I was swinging and she started to tell me to push her, each time louder than the first. I knew that she was getting mad, and as soon as I pushed her, her face got all happy again."I just felt all happy inside!" she said.
Now to the happy things from my title. Here are my number 1 happy things right now...
•Jenny, Seth, and Isaac (I don't know about Eric) are coming
•Spring break starts on Friday. YAY!!!!!
•I get to watch 'The Blind Side' sometime this or next week
•My fifth grade program is tonight
•My dad is home right now
• I get to wear my favorite purple skirt to the program tonight
Those are my happies right now.

Science Fair

For my Science Fair project this year I am doing a popcorn experiment . It is called  'Does storage temperature affect popcorn and how it pops?' It is really a cool experiment, because I put exactly 200 kernels ( hand counted) of popcorn in four different bags and then I put them in four different temperatures. One in the freezer, one in the refrigerator, one in normal room temperature and one in mixed temperatures. On the mixed temperature bag, I will switch the temperature every three weeks. there is 9 weeks til the fair so I will just swap it occasionally. That one will really prove if temperature affects anything. I am crossing my fingers that this will work!

The Summertime Blues

Today the summertime blues have been giving me a VERY hard time. I have had enough of winter! I say " Bring on the warmth! Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?"  Because this Idaho weather has been giving me a particularly hard time this week. Monday was very nice. Tuesday wasn't. Wednesday was a beautiful escape to spring. Thursday wasn't. Friday wasn't either. Neither was Saturday. But today? One word, and that word is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L! I am so looking forward to summer. I was thinking, Carly (who is my aunt) I wish we could mesh Idaho's perfect 70-90 degree summer with Las Vegas's awesome 60-75 degree winters. How great would that be. Ahh... SO dreamy.

"Too Short." Hannah says.........

Recently mom has been getting all of us up at 6:30 to read scriptures. Me and 6:30 have sort of a love/hate relationship. I love to read scriptures and be read, but I don't like getting up. Rephrasing that, I REALLY don't like getting up that early. Lately we have been having problems with "I didn't get as much as her!" "He read more than me " and/or "I only got two verses and she got three" We all usually read about five verses but Hannah just 'reads' more or less by herself. She always starts us up by saying "And it came to pass that Nephi.......". She always talks about Nephi, even if we are talking about Abinidi or Alma. She doesn't really read any verses but today while Sydney was reading Hannah went over to Mom and said " That's not fair. Sydney got 4 verses and I only got 3." Mom then announced to us that if she hears someone say any of the phrases above, we couldn't read the next day. So,of course, we will not be talking about not reading very much any longer.Mom said that what Hannah said was only funny because she doesn't really read at all. Hannah, in church, is what we call 'our self appointed deacon'. She has started to sit at the end she thinks the sacrament will come to first and then she will take it down the row. We all think that it is quite funny but she will snap at us if we laugh, so we keep our giggles to ourselves. We all say, "Too bad she'll never get to hold the priesthood."
There is the story of our funny little girl.

There's careful....And There's TOO Careful

So the Young Women's Leader brought over a little plaque for Molly that said 'Color Me Beautiful'.That was the theme for the Young Women's in Excellence this year so all of the Young Women got one. When Sister McClure delivered it Hannah was the one who answered  the door so she assumed that the plaque was her's, and all of us just decided to play along. My mom read it to her a couple of times and once Mom said "That line says 'You're the bomb.'" Hannah said " Nuh-uh!" and Mom said  "Yuh huh". After that Hannah walked over to our dad ,who was cooking dinner, and said " Daddy,Does this say 'You're the bomb'?" "Um" Dad said back "Sure." Hannah then put on a serious face " No really dad does it say 'You're the bomb'?"  "Um" he said again "Sure. Let me look at it". Hannah had been clutching it to her chest and when she handed it to Dad, she began to hyperventilate. She was trying to hyperventilate. It was really quite funny, and she hasn't let go of it or let anyone hold it since.

Oh Brother

Okay since I have done a post on each of my siblings except for Gabe. Here is for my great brother that is so awesome to me. He includes me and has to be the best brother ever. I love him so so much.
I love ya Gabe. You are a keeper, just like Syd and Han and Molly.
Oops he is sideways but you are all capable of turning your heads, so it is okay.

Hannah looks a bit like a pirate in this one.

That's my brother for ya.
